The famous line from the movie Sideways , delivered by Miles (played by Paul Giamatti), has become synonymous with a strong dislike for the grape varietal. The character's strong aversion to Merlot even led to a noticeable decline in its popularity and sales after the film's release.
We seek to reverse this decline.
Bright, tart and juicy with firm fruit derived tannins; this is not a wishy-washy version with plenty of structure to boot provided by plenty of whole-bunches in the ferment.
This is a Merlot that even Miles would like.
