Grown by us at Peter Fyffe’s Glenwillow Vineyard, this was the best year we’d ever seen of this fruit.
Fermented naturally without additions over 30 days then pressed off to be raised in an old French oak 2500L cask for 42 months — we felt it important to leave this wine to do it’s thing.
Bright purple berry fruits and savoury herb and earth with moth-filling fine long tannins with a firm crisp acidity. We’ve been patiently waiting for this wine the be ready and we’re glad we’ve waited - it is looking superb.
